Her gallery will be open at this location from November 17 until Christmas. Although Colleen joined the 'hop' too late to get onto our map and the poster - her work is too good to miss. Jon Sawyer Glass - 719 Mowatt Drive (hours - Sat: 9 - 6, Sun: 12 - 5) : Drawing his inspiration from the sparkling bay that surrounds St Andrews, this seaside influence is clearly reflected in the warmth, colour, and glowing light of Jon’s distinctive work. While his signature whale tales and fish demonstrate this influence beautifully, his light filled goblets and paperweights are further expression of his amazing grasp of the ancient craft of glassblowing. Ross Memorial Museum's Annual Christmas Open House:This wonderful Georgian mansion built in 1824 is decorated by volunteers for Christmas. This year's theme is "Keep Christmas in your Heart'. Home-baked sweets and hot cider are served to one and all, and terrific local music fills the house! Join them to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season! Kingsbrae Garden Events
include Garden of Lights: Kingsbrae Garden is dressed for the season with over 50,000 lights, including seasonal statues and spotlights on mature trees, buildings and sculptures. The Festival of Trees has participating sponsors from various Charlotte County businesses vying to outdo each other in creating the most beautiful Christmas tree. Stroll through the Visitors Centre and the Café building to see more than 20 spectacular trees and pick your favourite to bid on in the silent auction, all in aid of the Charlotte County Volunteer Centre & Food Bank. Enjoy a seasonal meal or refreshing beverage in the festively decorated Café and shop for great gifts in the Garden Gift Shop. Sunbury Shores Arts & Nature Centre
is hosting the Charlotte County Artists, Artisans and Crafts Exhibit & Sale – from November 14 to December 14. A reception to open the show is scheduled for Wednesday November 14th at 5 pm. In addition to regular hours, the gallery will be open during the St. Andrews Winter Festival on Saturday, December 1st from 10 am to 4 pm. Usual gallery hours are Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4:30 pm.
